Double Exhale
Best for: Calming, Stress Reduction, Slowing Heart Rate
This exercise is simple and effective.
Technique Instructions:
Start by counting your inhale, it doesn’t matter where you start.
Exhale through your nose for twice the count of the inhale.
Repeat. Continuing to count each inhale and double the count for the exhale. Continue this breathing pattern for at least 2-3 minutes. You may want to practice lengthening the inhales and exhales as you practice or extend the practice length of time.
