Double Exhale

Best for: Calming, Stress Reduction, Slowing Heart Rate

This exercise is simple and effective.

Technique Instructions:

  • Start by counting your inhale, it doesn’t matter where you start. 

  • Exhale through your nose for twice the count of the inhale.

  • Repeat. Continuing to count each inhale and double the count for the exhale. Continue this breathing pattern for at least 2-3 minutes. You may want to practice lengthening the inhales and exhales as you practice or extend the practice length of time.
